LVRJ - Work under way on new LV car-rental center
Hopefully LV will run this facility better then the one in Cleveland.
They NEVER had (have?, it's been about a year since I've been to CLE)
enough shuttle buses running. Since the City of Cleveland contracted
the shuttle bus service out, they went with a cheap bid which
resulted in poor service. Ah yes, brings back the memories of
standing in a snowstorm in February fighting with others to get on
the shuttle (which were always SRO).
Since it's a 'group' bus, the driver can't call ahead if you are a
member of a frequent renter club. In addition, the driver can't drop
you in the frequent renter lot. All this adds up to more hassle and
more time spent in the rental process.
And for this 'service' there is an additional 'facility service fee'
of $x per day on top of the ridiculous amount of tax they already
collect.
