LVRJ: Unions call June 1 strike for 9 downtown LV hotels
Oh good! Here's my chance to get even with the Culinary Union for
putting nails in my tires at the Frontier. That made me permanently
anti-union.
Well, I guess they feel that if fast food worker deserves $15 they deserve more. 
I had to belong to a Union and the leaders really just cared about lining their pockets.
And yes, I know this forum is for VP.
Just to balance things a little. I have belonged to my union for 55 years. I got involved early and we used the union vote to elect good people who made my life and my families much better than I could have achieved by myself. UNITED WE STAND DIVIDED WE BEG.
Years ago Local Union Presidents worked right besides you. Now, they spend all day in an office some place with a membership a quarter of what they use to have. They are as much in touch with the job as an elephant in India.
