LVRJ - Room rates on LV Strip increase 25 percent
BOY HOWDY - room rates have REALLY gone up over the last few years. So have show tickets, and restaurant prices. And VP and BJ pay schedules have gone to hell. And yet the mobs keep coming, economy, Indian casinos, airline hassles, terrorism alerts, and all.
Maybe the bean-counters were right! The nature of Las Vegas has utterly changed. It used to be "Bargain City", because rooms, food, and shows were loss-leaders to get people into the casinos. But if they are filling the hotels anyway, why bother? Sigh.
