For those who drive from LA, using SR58/SR14/I-5 adds about 40 miles
on average.

The California casinos will undoubtely be jumping for joy with this
news. Chances are not many people are going to want to fly to vegas.
Since the new TSA rules, they will ned up checking those bags they
normally carry on especially with Southwest. I can't imagine that
many people are going to be excited about checking a bag for a 50
minute flight and having to wait when getting to Vegas for your bag.
Not for 1 or 2 night stay. So more and more people will hang out in
town and go to their local indian casino.
