LVRJ - Macau's long-term consequences for Las Vegas
CNBC reported today that Asian players account for less than 10% of all Las
Vegas customers yet contribute 40% of casino profits. They further report
that less than 500 million people live in a five hour flight circle around
(US,/Canada/Mexico) Las Vegas but over 1.5 billion people live within the
same range of Macau.

Boy, that brings up more questions, rather than answer any. That 10%
figure- is that players from Asia, or players of Asian decent that
might happen to live in California? That 40% figure- you can almost
infer from that number that Asian gamblers must be very poor
gamblers. hummmm.
