LVRJ - LV Strip hotels are slashing prices

I am a cruise and vacation specialist here in las vegas and that article is so true.
My email box has been flooded with emails from every property in las vegas with offers , specials and plenty of extras along with slashing of prices. Not only are they slashing prices by 20 percent but they are giving away 2 for 1 show tickets, free slot play, spa discounts....you name it they are giving it away.
Just wanted to add to the article. Thanks for posting.

I find it amazing that people use the word "slashing" of room prices
when I think that it should be referred to as "reduced" room rates.
When prices at the nicer hotels on the strip are still over $200 per
night and the buffets are over $30 for dinner, slashing doesn't seem
to be justified.
