The article quoted the owners as saying that it is an adult establishment,
hence no Kids World, movie theater, etc. Seems to me that a locals place
cannot compete adequately with other locals places since many of their
patrons don't want to pay for a babysitter when they visit their local
casino. I'm not sure since I live alone but what's the general opinion?
I expect them to follow the same formula that has worked at
Terrible's and the Rampart.
1. Lots of almost free comp specials. i.e. 100 points gets
a free breakfast buffet. Maybe this time they will be a bit brighter
about the way they set up the slot club by making sure there are lots
of people working it to keep the lines small.
2. Offer good VP and promotions for at least 6 months.
3. Drastically reduce their good VP and strong promotions once
they establish a solid customer base.
