LVRJ - LV Binion's forced to close slots and table games

From LVRJ - No story yet.

Binion's forced to close slots and table games

State Gaming Control Board agents Tuesday evening forced Binion's
Horseshoe to close down almost half of its 1,300 slots and three of its
four table game pits because of inadequate casino bankroll amounts,
said Keith Copher, control board enforcement division chief. The casino
remains open.

Very sorry to hear this, and I'll check LVRJ's website for details. Recent stories indicated that the downtown drop was way down, moreso than other areas of Vegas, and the Boulder Strip is expected to have a higher handle than Downtown by next year. And Binion's troubles have been going on for years. I'd hate to see that great old place close down. Hope they can work things out.

I hope Jack comes back & fixes this. Can't afford to lose any place
which gives you a shot & winning.

Been out lately? Like in the last decade?

Binions has not been anything resembling its glory days
for a very long time.

For the Horseshoe, death will be a mercy killing.
