LVRJ - LUXOR'S NEW LOOK: FAREWELL TO EGYPT

I agree–whatz sooooo bad about about the Egyptian theme?
I thot it was done well and tastefully. Does EVERYTHING
have to be "hip and trendy"??? I do agree that the rooms
could use an up-dating.

?
Sad, very sad.? That's what we loved about Luxor.? Casino's are a dime a dozen, but Luxor was unique.

There's big money to be had in clubbing and upscale dining.

The current theme was tired and dated -- yet I don't think there was a
whole lot that could be done within the confines of it. In any case,
when we last dragged a first time visitor around the Strip, it never
made the itinerary.

I look for Excalibur to be next on the chopping block -- it's going to
take a demolition team to resurrect that property.
