Was at the nugget two weeks ago. First time ~10 years. It does look like the joint needs rehab but the food was good in the cafeteria and they have a good inventory of FP machines. Gave them $30K action. Waiting to see if we get any room offers et al. No offers from 10 years ago but we were 25 cent players back then.
Toured around the Sparks Marina going back to Reno. Haz-Mat site turned into recreational/residential area. Very nice project. Sparks has 100K people nowadays was suprised.
We stayed downtown Reno for 3 nights. Need to get established at a couple of other joints. Gave Sienna a little action but nothing close to Nugget. Got cut-off from Atlantis offers beginning of year.
Also, stayed in Virginia City for 3 nights. Drove down mountain to Bodines in Carson City for a day. Not that far and nice rides. They got FPSDB multistrike. My arms are starting to itch.

It was obvious that they were planning on selling…haven’t seen John Sr. around in a long time…
As best I can figure, he’s finally gotten tired and instead of waiting to die and have it split via Will, he sold it so HE can divey out the money before he’s too old.
I’m actually GLAD it got sold, it will finally become the property it once was (in the late 80’s through the mid 90’s)
However, I’m ALSO glad I quit playing there when I did (my offers will run out 1/1/2014 most likely)
