LVRJ - Cell phones cost casinos

This reminds me of the time I stayed at Sunset Station.........when I checked
out, there was a charge of 99¢ on my bill for phone service. I said I didn't
use the phone at all. They said it was a basic charge that everyone gets just
to have the phone in the room for possible use. So, my entire room and food
was comped by my hostess, but they would not remove the 99¢. LOL

I had the same experience when I stayed at Palace Station last
December. They charge a telephone service fee each night for each
room, even if you never use the phone. That really rubbed me the
wrong way. I don't have to pay for the room, which I do use, but I
do have to pay for the phone, which I don't use. Next thing you know
they'll be charging for the television....then the shower....

They did this to me at Sam's this weekend, $1/day. Next time I will
offer to bring the phone to the front desk to save the money.

At Main Street Station, they give you an option to have the phone activated
or not. I usually say no, and just use my cell phone.
