Well, what would one expect when you offer a 1.25% card and $1 10-play
8-5 Bonus? And continue to offer it? And still continue to offer it?

I didn't see what the big deal was, but pretty much everyone playing
it is a known burnout artist. Even at .4, it's a fairly stable play
and the player will get the money over time.

I know a couple of players who beat them for six figures.

during that 5x pt. period? My guess would be all of it! LOL! In all
seriousnous, they're were at least 7 dealt royals exceeding 18grand
including one on those 2$ 10play and a half dollar 50play by a well
known burnout artist who I know for a fact doesnt post here but has
helped burn down many plays that were haphazardly posted here. In
addition, there were lucrative drawings that any 5$ single line BP
player could monopolize not to mention the hundreds of fleas from this
site whom collected tens of thousands of dollars in free slot play
alone from the quarter FPDW. It got to the point where hogs were
playing 2 FPJW machines simultaneously including a certain meth addict
with his ipod and backwards hat hammering two 5$ 8/5 BP machines.
Toward the end I even played two machines cause I figured what the
hell, when in Rome! Frankly, Im surprised CML wasnt shut down a year
ago! I guess the subsequent countermeasures taken by their slot dept.
were too little too late(slowed machines, restrcited 5x pts to certain
machines, revoked mailers). I no longer play there cause Im not
eligible for any promos and only get their base .25 slot card, but
almost evreyone I know including the aforementioned burnout artist has
ceased playing there cause we/ve been essentially banned. I hope this
works, quite frankly, as well as the new strategy's to increae revenue
cause Im fond of many of the employees and would be sad to them get
laid off.

General William Sherman is the archetype and inspiration of all
burnout artists.

I think that this is a term that is referring to a Vegas magician who, while
applying oils to a canvas, can set himself on fire and disappear.

When I was in high school, a good friend of mine was one of those art
geeks, and he was pretty good. He also had a hot rod, and after school
he liked to "burn out" in the parking lot on his way home. Thus he was
a known burnout artist.....but I really don't know what this has to do
with video poker.

The primary motivation of a burnout artist is to destroy (burnout) a
play as quickly as possible and take credit, to become famous as the
"destroyer of plays", rather than to try to win the most money. They
are often accused of working for the casino, but that is generally not
the case. The classic technique is to use a catheter and stimulants
such that around the clock 24/7 play is possible. Of course, even the
slowest casino management generally eventually notice said behavior
and investigate and generally remove the play or plays until said
"burnout artist" leaves the casino, the result being a "burned-over"
casino with nothing remotely playable.

You've gotta be kidding me, that's appalling. A crystal meth binge doesn't
seem conducive to using one's food comps. And there's no play in the world
that would get me shoving a Foley up my pee-hole, not even on a 10x points
day.

The extraterrestrial is a beauty and a half. The last time I gave him
something he got trespassed. He wasn't happy with playing quarter
50-play Jacks with 1% cb, which would still be there if not for his
greed, he had to go play $5 5-line, in a place where the pit takes
$300 bets, and really mean $100. How many royals you think is the
casino going to pay off here?

Adding injury to insult, he found a decent VBJ play in CA, ran good to
it, overplayed the s*** out of it, then gave some of it back. The
casino pulled the plug on the game last week, shortly after a number
of Vegas pros started pounding away at it-with multiple cards, of
course. Now, having seen his VBJ game, his edge wasn't as big as he
thought it was, but the casino surely didn't like the hold on the game
(Oh yeah, hat tip to Doug Reul for that timely discussion of VBJ two
weeks before the game got pulled).

I'm not sure whose mentality is worse, guys like him (or the other guy
involved in that play who is even worse), or people on the forum who
feel like their rights are being violated because the plays aren't
spoon fed to them. I'm voting for the former.
