With all due respect to the R-J, I have to say they're being a little
bit provincial here. It's a pure apples/oranges comparison. From a
pure entertainment standpoint, noone is going to touch Vegas ever.
Moreover, any time there's been expansion of gambling nationwide,
Vegas has also expanded.
A more interesting question, albeit one which the R-J wouldn't be
interested in analyzing, would be which venue would be more profitable
to play. Although I think right now, it's Vegas for sure, AC had been
very strong off and on over the last couple of years-one particular
venue was worth probably close to $5K/month by itself until recently.
