Misery loves company, so I'm enjoying trading horror stories. Bear in mind that I'm a $1 player, so $5 is at the bare edge of my comfort zone. The coupon was good on Thursday and Friday. Thursday: blew through $2700 in about an hour before throwing in the towel. Gathered up my courage and remaining scraps of loose cash and tried again Friday (after getting torched for $1700 at the Suncoast, no less), and fed another $1200 into beasts before deciding that my odds of actually cashing this thing were getting pretty slim, and my ATMs had hit their daily limit. So, I switched to $1 JoB and, of course, got dealt the quad with about $60 left, thus reducing my $4000 gift to the LVH to a mere $3875.
As Tomski likes to say, "I beat the odds".

JK,
You too?!? I played about an hour on the 9/7 DB triple play and ended up with a grand total of 4-of-a-kinds of........zilch. Zero. Not a single one. Not a good session, needless to say.
Meanwhile, the guy a few machines down was playing single-line $25 9/6 DDB for maybe 10 minutes and (of course!) hit 4 aces with the kicker for a mere $50k, plus the $3,125 quad bonus. Go figure.
All within the realm of probability, but unpleasant nonetheless. It's tough being the one who evens things out for the house.....

A database update: The LVH has a bank of 4 $1/$5 9/6 JoB located opposite the buffet west of the sportsbook bar. They are evil and I hate them, but they are there.John (who just had a very, very bad experience with a 125-coin quad bonus coupon)
