Just got back, and folks it ain't pretty. The new brochure clearly states that comp dollars accrue at a rate of $1 to $125 coin in. .8%, right? Yeah right. I played just over $58,000 coin in over 3 days and my comp/cash account accrued at a rate that appears to be about .12%. This seems to be just about the same rate that my old comp account would go up. I was shocked, so I talked to a supervisor boothling..........
She said that the advertized rate was "not for all machines - video poker was less because you can throw part of the hand away to try and improve it." Me thinks the "theo" system is at work here. She actually dragged her screen up onto the counter to show me all of my "sessions". they were broken down by coin in, time, and amount of comps issued. A 4 OAK was a session as the card is pulled by the attendant when you are paid - no comp dollars awarded here.
Bottom line, cashback has been virtually eliminated on the better games, and the comp rate seems to advance at the same glacial pace.
The brochure is VERY misleading - no mention of VP at all. So I asked if VP was a slot? Yes, but the rate of comps was "different" for VP. How then can I find out how much I am accruing? "You can't" was the reply - then she hauled the monitor up.
Damn, from .66% CB to virtually zero is pretty drastic, to say the least.
Another little surprise was Benihana is no longer included in C3. Would have been nice to know that before running up about $100 in dinner charges........
No more C4, no more cash back, a poor comp rate, drastically reduced room offers. Who do they think they are, Wynn?!
This will probably eliminate a lot of play by locals? What about visitors? Any place better for a $$ player in town?
It was nice while it lasted though............
