Can anyone elaborate on any known issues at LVH? I've been
practicing my LD for two weeks in preparation for a visit next month,
and wouldn't want any ugly surprises.

I had generous smooth sailing there over New Year's, Marsha. I assume
any benefit cuts would affect only frequent players.
By the way, you clearly have a stronger stomach than I do if you plan
to hit the LVH $1 LD. Any game in which you're expected to lose $3
grand on average between deuces quads is a bit too gut wrenching for me!
Of course, we both know you're made of sterner stuff than me :).

Yeah, but I've lost just as much on less volatile games. I'm also
refreshing my Pick 'Em skills, as a backup plan. 5 days can be a
LOOOOONG time in LV!
