LVH Summer Chips

I received a mailer for Summer Chips promo 7/29 to 8/12 that states it
is worth up to $3000 in chips. Has snyone taken them up on one of
these promos? Are all the chips at once? What are the restrictions
on their use, if any? The marketing person I talked to seemed to
convey that I would get the full 3000 based on C-2 level play. Is this
true? Thanks!!!

Hello!

My wife and I were already planning to go to Las Vegas in August and, when
this offer arrived, we decided to respond to the LVH on a "Summer Chips"
offer that arrived in our mail earlier this week. A simple phone call had us
registered for 3 free nights and we extended the stay with 2 additional nights
at "casino rate".

However, for the level of play that we find ourselves, the offer was for 3
comp'ed nights plus $100 in chips. Since we were used to getting 3 nights
and $25 in cash, this seemed to be a good alternative. The "usual" offer (for
August) arrived the very next day, but we had already committed to the
"Summer Chip" offer.

Anyway, after this long preamble, can someone describe what these "chips"
are and how they are to be used, even though we only will be getting $100
worth of them.
