During a recent discussion with a LVH host, I was advised that,
effective Sept 1, they would be implementing a revised comp level
structure that eliminates some levels. Specifically mentioned as being
eliminated was C4, since an analysis indicated they were getting
seriously beat up on that level.
Historically, we have hovered around the C5- C4 dividing point. When I
asked if this change would result in our not being able to get a room
comped, I was told that we were OK.
We were also told that, also effective Sept 1, there would no longer be
seperate cashback and comp accounts, rather, they would be combined. I
was unsuccessful in getting the host to agree that they would simply
add the two together.
