LVH No C4

I just called to book a room for the October room offer that I just
received from the Las Vegas Hilton. According to the person who took
my resevation, as of Sept, there is no longer a C4 comp status. The
lowest level is now C3.

Bill

Do you know if the required play to reach C3 have been lowered or is it $30K per day as reported on the VP free web site? Does anyone have any other recomended casinos for a low roller ($15-20K per day) on the strip? I like to get my room and food comped, but I'm not a picky eater or that picky about the quality of the room.
Thanks in advance for the advice,

WOW! At $5.0 to $7.5K per day, I must not even appear on the radar. What
kind of a "roller" am I?

Take your choice, bw...... Blade, coaster or skate. You're obviously
below the LVH radar for gambler.

Who do they think they are anyway? I would rank them closer to the
Stardust than Bellagio or Venetian.

Well, in light of everything going on, maybe I am one of those rollers you put under the
refrigerator when you have to move it out to mop under it.

I'm not much of a "roller" anymore either at the
hilton. I usually play 10k per day. I doubt I get
any offers for comp rooms anymore.

I've been doing about $6K per day (200 points) for my LVH trips and am
still getting the monthly free nights and $25. I've also been getting
the slot tournament offers; though I've gotten a few more offers that
I need to pay to take part of lately.

Barbary Coast and Stardust would qualify.

Does playing $20K per day coin-in make one a "low-roller"? I would
have thought that, that amount of daily action would qualify one to be
at least a "mid-roller".

I would welcome the list member's opinions of minimum coin-in
parameters for low, mid & high rollers (as would apply to VP players
only.)

Thanks,

I'm not sure about what selection of VP they have, but Harrah's is VERY generous with room comps. You couldn't ask for a better location either!

In my not so humble opinion... I use the following ranges ...
0k - 4k - low roller - basically your nickel to some quarter player. - gets the odd buffet comp and room discounts.
4k - 10k - mid roller - quarter player . - Gets comped rooms, some food - LRFB at smaller casinos .
10k - 20k - low level high - quarter player with added multi line and some dollar play or a couple that plays quarters only.Gets RFB at small casinos, LRFB at bigger ones.

20 k - high roller - > dollar player . LRFB to full RFB at the big casinos .

These numbers can be argued from here to eternity, but I believe they would be close to most peoples guidelines.

Regards
A.P.

Hi Albert,

I think that your opinions deserve to be "not so humble" since I
completely agree with you!

I do have a question for you though. Since I usually play about
$10K coin-in daily (up from $7K/$9K since I feel in love with triple
play!)am I a "high mid-roller" or a "low high-roller"? (-:

Thanks for your well thought out answer.

I wouldn't argue them, but in any casino it's the hosts who define
what's low or high - and that varies considerably. $25K will get you
little more than a room some places, RFB at others -- you can presume
an esteem of your play accordingly.

- H.

Well since you are still playing quarters, that would make you a high mid roller... :sunglasses:
