LVH Info

Just back - talked to a bartender while playing pickem at 5am.
Changes he said are comming but may take awhile; Lighten up the
sports book area, redue the bar by replacing all the machines and
making the bar into a flat straight line not facing the screens.
They will spend 1mill in the sports book area. I am sad to say I
certainly think pickem and all american will take a hit!

Is that just something that you "feel", or did someone say something specific
about Pik'M and All-American?

I have no specifics on chanes to Pickem and AA. Since the employee
said they will be changing all the machines in the bar area and are
changing to TITO machines I think (am guessing) it is just a matter
of time till all the machines are TITO (this means AA and Pickem). I
hope I am wrong.

The AA machines, while quite popular, are amongst the oldest at the Hilton. It wouldn't surprise me if they went bye-bye. But I'm hoping not. Gotta have my AA!

I'm afraid if they go all TITO, the Bally Gamemakers will be history. Too bad I like Pick-Em.

Not necessarily. I have seen the comment in this forum that the older Ballys GMs can't be converted to TITO. However, at Harrah's KC there are 6 console Ballys GM's that HAVE been converted.

New ones are showing up in AC just about every day it seems ... and
they have the ugliest paytables imaginable! (You thought there was
only one universal paytable, huh?)

Yes. Here in the KC area the Ameristar, Harrah's and Harrah's Prairie Band all have relatively new MGs with PE. It's a popular game, casinos aren't going to stop offering it any time soon.
