Just found out from our host the LVH has downgraded us from C3 to
nothing, she did offer us a free room. Well it was a nice run while it
lasted............
LVH - Downgraded
I know it is being a bit of a Pollyanna and things are not what they used to be,
but the LVH is still one of the few "strip" (or near-strip) casinos with over 100%
VP.
We "play for entertainment" people still have that to take advantage of. Is the
glass half full or half empty?
It will be interesting to see how my better half and I feel, on site, when we visit
again in November.

The wife and I are there in mid-Oct. Kinda weird really. We're
dedicated low-rollers, and never played/stayed there, simply signed
up for a card when meeting friends one day for lunch. Recently
started getting mailed offers for dirt cheap rooms and a free show
(although admittedly the pair of tickets to Delisico probably has an
EV of $5). Sure feels more strip-like promos/marketing type
approach in general. Longer term I'm not sure who generates more
revenue for a place like this. Schmucks like me may eat in the
resaurants, but I won't lose any more that $200/day in gambling.
