LVH balance withdrawal - count as a trip?

I spoke with the LVH slot club to ask if taking money out of your CB
account would count as a trip against you. The boothling claimed that
if all you did was come to the slot club to take the cash back that it
would not be entered as a trip against you, but that I shouldn't put my
card in any machines or kiosks.

Do you believe that? Has anyone tried that? I will probably be able
to burn my comp balance in April, and I certainly don't want to have a
blank trip on my record before then.

If anyone has any experience in this area, let me know.

That's been my experience at several casinos, including the LVH. I've redeemed bounceback cash, cash-back and comps at various casinos, and they don't seem to count as a trip. (One caveat, Harrah's sometimes counts participation in promotions as a trip. Also, the Palms counts almost everything as a trip.) I never put my card in any machines or kiosks unless I am going to play - but I will give it to a booth person.
