Perhaps, not likely. I developed a phobia asking the
LVC personnel related questions because most of the
time they are clueless. Yesterday, I spent some time
at LVC and people were anticipating the usual promos
(free steak dinner and merchandise gift certificate)
after hitting certain jackpots of $250 or more and
were told the promo has been discontinued. The
property takeover must have something to do with it.

I'm happy to report that a MVP Pass postcard came in the mail today
from Barrick Gaming. It's basicly the same deal as before, except
that instead of having a year to use it, the offer expires on Sept 2,
2004.

That's interesting because someone else I know got the postcard also
expiring on September 2nd.
If more and more people get this card with that expiration that could be a
hint that they might change the program at that time...
