There are many unincorporated townships in Clark County. These seem to be superfluous, as there is no actual government. They are more like neighborhoods, For instance, there's the township of Spring Valley. The northern end of the strip is located in the unincorporated township of Winchester. The southern end is in the township Paradise. So, if you're planning to stay at Caesars. Bellagio, MGM, etc, you can tell your friends that you're vacationing in Paradise.
