Part of the confusion arises from the fact that the Strip is served by
the Las Vegas Post Office so their addresses say XXX Hotel, Las Vegas,
NV XXXXX. Other places in the country have the same problem in that
the mail delivery area for a specific post office is not necessarily
contiguous with the city of the same name. I've always said that the
Strip casinos would be much more inclined to become part of Las Vegas
if their addresses were required to be the accurate "Unincorporated
Clark County, NV XXXXX or if the famous sign said "Welcome to Fabulous
Unincorporated Clark County." Perhaps Mayor Goodman should charge the
casinos a royalty for using his City's name. The name of the upcoming
mega-development on the Strip "Project City Center" is a joke.
I'm constantly amazed at how many people don't know that the Strip is
not in Las Vegas.

If the Strip (Las Vegas Blvd.) is not in Las Vegas, what city is it in?
