Q: I'm tired of having to get up and get dressed for a cup of
coffee! Can you tell me which casinos downtown have either room
service or coffee pots in the room?<A HREF="http://tinyurl.com/jsbv2">

That is surprising information about who has coffee. Only about 40% of the
72 casinos surveyed offer a coffee pot in the room.
MSS doesn't, but the Boar bar keeps a fresh pot going since there isn't any
other outlet early in the morning.
Laughlin has an array of coffee options:
The Golden Nugget offers a 4 cup one, even with glass coffee cups, but the
coffee offered has that cardboard taste to it. On the casino floor you get the
same clear glass handled coffee cups.
Harrahs-L as a 4 cup pot in the two adult towers with better tasting coffee.
The cups are those sturdy disposables which you can easily take down to the
casino. Glass coffee cups on the floor too. Who came up with the crummy idea
that napkin wrapped highball glasses are acceptable to serve coffee?
The Edgewater/Cololado Belle offer hotshots, but they use instant coffee
packets and tea bags. Tea drinkers will like this setup since there isn't any
coffee taste.
The actual best tasting room coffee is at the Riverside and the Pioneer.
They use those one shot drip packets in a hotshot maker. You just need to snag a
stash of the good tasting coffee.
