Q: What's this I hear that they've now got showgirls at the
monorail? Isn't the monorail losing enough money as it is?
How can they pay showgirls just to stand around?
............................................
They aren't really showgirls. A lot of attractive young women move to Las
Vegas in hopes of becoming a companion to Mayor Goodman and if that doesn't work
out becoming a cocktail waitress and if that doesn't work out becoming an
exotic dancer [exotic dancers not only have to obtain all the county permits,
they have to pay up to $1500 per shift for the privilege of dancing] and if
that doesn't work out they stand around in front of the "Everything For Under A
Buck" store. So that's how they can pay "showgirls" just to stand around at
the monorail.
