LVA Question of the Day - 30 SEP 2007

Q: Where can I buy dry ice in Las Vegas? I have burned hundreds
if not thousands of cellphone minutes and still... I live in the
Florida Keys and it's available almost everywhere, so I thought
with the Vegas heat it would be easy to find out there. But no.
Can you help? I'm looking for less than 10 lbs to keep some Key
lime pies cold.

Now here's the REAL Question:

"Where can you get a Key Lime Pie in Las Vegas that's good enough to
warrant the expense and trouble of transporting it back to the
Florida Keys?" That's like shipping beef to Iowa, lobster to Maine,
wine to Napa Valley, etc.

Let me know, I'd like to have some on our next Las Vegas trip.

Yeah right, who would ever be bringing key lime pies from Las Vegas to
Florida! That would be like packing up a nice vegas pasta dish for
your visit to Rome, or nice vegas fresh oysters so you could bring them
to New Orleans. Or some delicious Vegas gyro's for your trip to
Greece, well you get the idea.

Try any of the Cheesecake Factory locations, I eat at the two suburban
ones in Green Valley and Summerlin, you'd probably prefer the one at
Forum Shops.
