LVA Question of the Day - 28 MAR 2008

Q: I read your Question of the Day from 12/21/07 about playing
in video poker tournaments. While nothing in that QoD was
incorrect, there's a lot more that can be said. May I?

This is one of the best QoD's they've had. I LOVE VP tournaments. I

suspect this could start a fairly long thread. I hope it does, cuz I'd
love to know more about the various tournaments around. Currently I
only play those at the Fremont...several a year...DDB, 2 1/2 hour
sessions, free but invite only. To use full credits takes 1000
hands/hour. They've only had very limited tournaments here locally
(Iowa). Wish they'd hold many more. If I lived in Vegas, I'd probably
spend ,most of my time running around playing these.

I know there are a few places to go that tell a little about where/when
tourneys are held, but I don't think they go into much detail. Does
anyone have a suggestion as to the best place to find info on
where/when & the deetails of how it's run...game, time or credit, prize
pool, etc.
