Is it just me or do these questions occaisionally
seem like only one person in the world would care
about the answer?

WOW - I'm one in 6 billion - LOL! Actually, I love Las Vegas, and
metal detecting is one of my hobbies, so I was very interested in the
answer, and I appreciate the info I found for this one.

Yup, it's you. I have friends that often mention activities such as
going Geocashing, metal detecting, hiking, and visiting museums when
they come here for a vacation. I guess not all of us spend all of our
time playing VP?

I found the Q&A very helpful. While we got to Vegas to gamble, we always take a day or two side trip to enjoy other parts of Nevada. Early in 2005 we found enjoyment in visiting Ghost towns, not necessarily to metal detect, but to learn more about the state and hour national history.

I say, keep 'em coming!
