LVA Question of the Day - 26 JUL 2008

Q: I was wondering what kinds of beds and bedding are used at
the Mandalay Bay. I spend much of my year in hotel beds and the
beds at Mandalay were heaven sent. I am buying my first home
and I would love to to splurge on the exact setup that I slept
on at Mandalay. In particular, the brands of the mattress,
pillow top for the mattress, and the comforter are of great
interest to me.

The wife and I just got back from 5 nights/6 days at the Mandalay Bay and we both thought the bedding was way too soft. I'm 60, the wife is 55 and we both had to exert a lot of effort just to turn over.

Saying that, I loved the Mandalay Bay and will stay there again. I liked it more than Wynn.

One thing I noticed while there was the wonderful entrance from the strip. Nobody notices it because most either get there by cab or the tram. If you get a chance, check it out.
