I know at the luxor a room was not required to valet park. I doubt it since
they want walkins to gamble and the attendants love the tips.

Two bucks here, too, unless I'm checking in/out, not using a bellman, and
the valet removes or puts my bags into the trunk...that gets him five bucks
(usually traveling with someone so it's two pieces of luggage).

A key point. Does the valet help with the bags or does he or she want
to take the tip and run? Service is king in deciding what to tip.

Cheers

I drive our Corvette when we visit Las Vegas and Laughlin. I would
never use the valet service. It would be too costly for one tire burn
by a valet when a set of tires cost about $2000. BTW, I get over 33 mpg
in the Corvette.
