LVA Question of the Day - 24 JUL 2008

Q: If I understood your QoD on keno correctly, keno machine
odds are better than live keno odds due to the lower amounts
that can be wagered and the speed with which machines can be
played. But what about the randomness of chance for each game?
ive keno seems to leave no doubt that the results are purely
the result of chance; every game is visible to the player.
However, a keno machine suggests that management can and does
control the results. Is this correct? If so, to what extent?
Live keno odds are difficult as is. But are machine results
also the result of pure chance?
