According to Danial Fabrizio, "the public" is having a pretty good year in the NFL, batting right at 50%, about 2% above the norm.

I was disappointed in his answer. Especially after he wrote "I was
probably unlucky," I was hoping he'd say "nothing." He didn't specify
what he meant by the game getting tougher. Assuming he was just
unlucky and he still has enough expected value to keep playing, that
he will lose that value is an example of the cost of the mentality of
changing video poker machines because they're "running bad." What
will he do 2 years from now if his system does well next year?

Fezzik could advertise more heavily...but I don't think he is going to become any better handicapper and he should quit trying to pretend that he has some special talent at it. He seems to have a talent with regards to fixed lines which does not translate to picking real games versus real lines that move.
