LVA Question of the Day - 17 MAR 2008

Q: I recently read something regarding the closing of the Luxor
Nile River attraction in 1995 and that while the official line
is that it was closed due to an upgrading of the property, one
of the real reasons for the closing was that there were ghost
sightings by customers of workers killed during the construction.
This is sweet (not that the people died, of course, but the fact
that they were possibly haunting tourists!) Tell me more, please.
Do these ghosts ever show up in any of the other areas of the
Luxor?

  "Express checkout" indeed!

I stayed on the 10th floor of the Luxor and got the creepy crawlies every time I went to my room alone. I took to walking as close to the wall as I could. My son and his wife had the next room with connecting a connecting door...that connecting door was open at all times...I am not that chicken but really felt uncomfortable. I never heard ghost stories so this is amusing:) Never stayed there again.

How about this "coincidence":
  from LVA advisor QoD:
... a woman who reportedly leaped from the **26th floor** and landed
in the buffet area ...

as relates to this from the season 3 opening episode of Criss Angel
MindFreak on A&E: (shown in June 2007)

" Additionally, Criss will float down from the **26th floor** of the
Luxor atrium into a crowd in the lobby ..."

from http://www.aetv.com/criss_angel/criss_episode_guide.jsp
click the (unnumbered) Episode titled Luxor Light.

I've seen this episode and you cannot tell how he does it.

Criss Angel lives in the Presidential Suite at the Luxor.

Season 4 begins early June 2008.
