Q: In the answer on 1/31/06, Deke Castleman mentioned that
the Meadow Valley Wash just north of Las Vegas is an aquifer
"the total extent of which is still largely unknown." How
can that be? Hasn't anyone drilled wells to measure it? And
is this water available to the Las Vegas Water District for growth?
