Q: We come to Las Vegas 2-3 times a year and it almost takes
the whole time we are there to find a good radio station. It
seems like the car rental places like to set the stations to
ones with strange music. I think it would be helpful to have
a list of some of the established radio stations and the type
of music -- oldies, rock, jazz, etc. Thank you.

This is the station I look for coming from Laughlin. I pick it up soon after
the 163/95 turn-off south of Searchlight. You hear stuff for the first time,
which could be good or bad.

The jazz is what Mesa/Phoenix NPR "KJZZ" used to play in the late-1980's
before they quit playing music and went to NPR news.
