QUESTION: We visit a few times a year and like to do
something non-gambling for the weekend, then hit the casinos
and gamble and drink all week. Basically, we arrive late
Friday, then have all day Sat./Sun. to enjoy the outdoors.
Then we spend Monday-Friday in the casinos. So far over the
years, we've visited Death Valley, Zion/Bryce, Red Rock
Canyon, Mt. Charleston, and Valley of Fire. Are there any
other hidden gems around we should try to visit for scenery
and hiking? We've been to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon,
but not the North Rim, which is much closer to Las Vegas.
