Q: In 1967 I worked briefly in Las Vegas and the Hacienda
was the extreme south end of the Strip. Now it's difficult
to remember exactly where it was, and how far south the
Strip has grown. Do you have any interesting information
on the southward expansion of the Strip over the decades?

It was in front of the Bluebird Mobile Home Park. I think the Mandalay Bay
is on the old Hacienda property. The only hotel on the south strip corner was
the Marina. It still remains as the front building of the MGM. Going south the
next point of interest was "The Still" cafe near Serene and LV Blvd. Their
"Jethro Burger" was so huge you would order one for a party of two.
