LVA Question of the Day - 11 SEP 2008

Q: I hear Jean Scott often talk about stopping by to pick up
bounce-back cash. Sometimes Brad even picks it up for her. Isn't
she penalized in some way (maybe in future offers) by just
picking it up and not playing?

Jean brings up some good points especially about places that hit you with a daily average. The Palms is a place that does that and thus I don't give them as much play as I would if they didn't track a daily average.

anyone know the cutoff time at MGM-Mirage properties for daily average calc purposes? I think I killed my average with my 10:30pm start on the first day and a little morning play on the last day of my last trip.

I think that a Daily Average for locals is foolish and costs them a significant amount of play. The Palms is closet casino to my home, I'm at the race/sports book several times a week &/or to meet friends for dinner, and would often play machines for a while, but, like Bill, don't do so because of daily average.
