As close as you can get to the secret base named after a Las Vegas baseball
team. You won't see it as it's a tunnel test. Will it be felt? I don't know.
On any other day you can go into the test site on a free guided tour and see
all the stuff you've heard about. But, you have to get clearance which takes
about 3 weeks. Contact the Atomic Testing Museum on Flamingo just east of
Terribles for details.
BTW, A previous LVA question was about the famous mushroom cloud photo as
seen from Glitter Gulch.... It's a superimposed fake. The real photo of the
cloud was taken from the News Nob area of the NTS, 90 miles n/w of downtown Las
Vegas.
