Q: There has been a lot written about room rates in Las Vegas.
However, little attention has been paid to car-rental prices,
which seem way up to me in Las Vegas and most everywhere else.
Adjusting auto-rental fleets is a lot easier than adjusting room
numbers. I don't have solid stats, but I'd almost take an even
bet that much of the savings due to the hotel glut for John Q.
Tourist has been eaten up by auto-rental prices and fees. What
say the experts?
