Harrahs-Laughlin suspended their free shuttle down to the mall/Regency in
July. They based it upon gas prices and breakdowns in equipment.

They now have some sort of deal through the slot club to get a discounted
rate for the river taxi. Instead of $4 one-way it is $2 in comps, with
rescrictions like same day use.

That's strange; Harrah's at Atlantic City starting it around the same
time it is discontinued in LV. The gas price is no better now than in
July. The gas situation is no better here in AC than in Vegas.

The Jitney Transportation system that is already there in AC serving
the various casinos is pretty good. Will have to wait until the
beginning of nest month to see how Harrah's new service is unveiled.
