LVA Bonus Points for February -- Palms

The Palms is still listed as 2X for VP on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This was
true for January, no longer true in February. No scheduled multipoint days this
month.

Scot, what were you told and by whom?

Granted that Brian is the most knowledgeable when it comes to the
intricacies of the workings of the Palms slot club and related
mailings...but inquiring minds want to know!

Thanks,

Also, they told me last week that those 2x promotions do not apply
to "full-pay" machines. Cannery denies point multiplier promotions on
full-pays also. Do you know who else does this? I know video poker
players get short-changed in general with point promotions versus slot
players. I want to know who specifically discriminates against those
who play full-pay?

Most coast casinos

I played at the Palms last Tuesday night and was told
by the person at the give-away table(by McDonalds)
that I could get a piece of luggage with 750 points on
slots or 1500 points on VP. I played 2100 points on
the FPDW bank and went back to collect and was told
those machines were not eligible. I didn't pursue it,
but that wasn't disclosed up front by the boothling.
I don't want to start another "Wizard-of-Odds" thread
but Casinos rarely give the whole story "up front." I
guess that 2100 didn't get 2X'd either!

Aren't all their full-pay machines clearly marked with the "not eligible for
any promotions" stickers?
