We left from Boston on 2/24. Stayed at Sam's for 3 nights-We are
becoming increasingly disturbed with their comps. Four years ago
we brought 10 (ten) people to dinner at Papamios with bottles of
wine (three) at No Charge!! This last trip we had to Fight for a
comp at the buffet!! My other half hit a a royal on Sam's Deuces
Hooray!! We the went to explore LV Hilton--sat down in the sports
book casino on a double bonus--five minutes later dealt four to a
royal-needing j of spades on far left-bingo-royal-hooray! Stayed
with friends in Henderson for 2-nights then off to Belliago for 2
nights. A great hotel although VP is not very good. We found a
quarter progressive an lo and behold--I hit it!! $1,784.00!!
We splurged and had dinner at Le Cirque (tasting menu) with the
great pairings of many wines--A great restaurant-although a bit
crowded - unlike Picasso - which was also excellent. PS: the
Le Cirque is a bit pricey ($500.00) ouch for two!! We usually
go to LV 1-3 times a year. I think the locals? really do not
appreciate the great VP paytables available to you on an everyday
basis. We aren't even close to these paytables in NE.
