You can't beat a hand pay because casino personnel are already involved. When I play table games I always take a marker. The worst thing is to buy in for $1000 and win a couple more and then be subject to reporting even though you didn't win $3000 or more. I pay the marker off first and then cash in some chips and put the rest in safe deposit box.
I have never won every session at the tables and use safe deposit chips to pay off markers for losing sessions. The chips in the safe deposit box smooth out the peaks & valleys.
Of course, when I have all losing sessions the issue is moot.
