LV Hilton, Wynn & Sams

1. Just left the Hilton. They are taking out the 5 DB machines
against the wall. The other 8 won't be far behind. They told me all
coin droppers are being taken out. No word of what will replace
them. HURRY down today.

2. Bonus at Wynn for June play- they have not given me credit for
points for which I had taken cash back. Need to talk to manager of
red card who is out today.

3. All Sam's 25 ct. 2s are now slow. I heard a technician say they
can only slow them up, not even those which were fast before.

What 5 DB machines are you talking about? Where are/were they? I have
never seen DB at Hilton except 9/7 in slant tops in the sports book
and 1 9/6 (yes 9/6) squeezed between 2 9/6 DDB in StarTrek.
Slowing the deuces down again - huh? They must have gotten tremendous
play during the holiday with 6x points.

These are the machines that were actually mislabeled - and they contained the $.25 AA. RIP - what's next at that place?

I'm going next week for my last shot as a C3. Since they took out the $$ pick 'em we will not play at that level, and will go back to quarters and wait for a few offers. Time to move on, I guess. In the mean time we will be living high on the hog next week - two bedroom suite for the kid and his buddies on his 21st birthday. Should be lots of pool drinks on the bill next week, not to mention latte's, smoothies, margaritas, beers in Tempo, and maybe even some food now and then. We're going out with a bang!

This is not good. I was hoping they would still be there for my trip
at the end of the month. Now, I guess, I will stiff them. They have
me at a "Room-Only comp" anyway. First my Stardust plays and then my
Hilton plays. Now, I am not "established" anywhere. Time to start
planing vacations in Reno I guess.

I know which ones you were talking about and they did not have full
pay DB on them every time I checked. The best game was AA. I guess
that means they are getting rid of all of them with AA on them.
(there is another bank of them over by the JOB progressive. I feel
pretty much the same way about the Hilton. Right now the best plays
are over in the sports book area (lots of quarters but only 7 dollar
machines) and it can get pretty crowded with extremely rude people
just sitting at a machine to watch the game (even though there are
plenty of seats in the sports area) and they will be rude when asked
to give up their seat. Not to mention the amount of people talking
on cell phones. The last time I was there (over July 4th weekend)
there were alot of people using their cell phones. I am always
surprised the guards don't see these people talking. Maybe they
just don't want to hassel with stopping it. I have sat in other
casinos where good machines were at the sports book area and the
people did not act that way. I wonder why they do it in the
Hilton.

HA HA on the Hilton.

sincer i started my new data base after inadvertantly wipeing the
old files. I have done the following on AAP at the hilton

in 39.5 hours Ive won $1933.00 at 48.73 per hour

and made 396.00 in slot cash and other stuff.

I also have about another $40 some odd yet to cash

that brings the total up to 2374 or about 58.39 an hour.

Guess i was a bit tough on them. but at least Im getting off well on
the high side of variance. which I really thank them for.

Adios AAP you were a good friend. adios Hilton. your death knell has
sounded.

I cash out tomorrow.

a good # of the people on that bank are playing the DDB as is vs
deuces. I am in there every day. Likely 1 or 2 of the machines will
get "speeded up" again. Seems to go in cycles. 1 on far left on side
facing ice cream usually most likely 1 to get faster...

I play in AC, and except in Harrahs & Showboat, points don't show up
in the "meters" as you play; not even in the fancy Borgata, with its
LCD panel displays on many machines. I haven't been to Bally's or
caeser's after their merger with Harrahs, so I don't know if they do
now, as all the points are now combined into one Total Rewards
account.

At Borgata and Taj Mahal, the display greets you by name when you
insert the card. But after that, no update, as you play.

At Resorts, all you get is a cryptic message "Card Accepted". And
most of the time, the machines there have a great difficulty reading
the cards, giving repetitive "Please Reinsert the Card" message. It
happened once (may be more than once) that the card was "accepted",
but sometime later when I happened to look up, it had a "Reinsert"
message, implying that the play was not being tracked.

It appears that the AC casinos have quite a ways to go as to giving
the customer the proper feedback. Surprising, because most of these
casinos have their counterparts in LV.

If they (the sign) say that they will not speed up the deal, then how do
some of them get changed?
On my previous visit, there were two fast ones. The ones on the extreme
left as you faced each bank.
The slot attendants will change the speed on the Sam's Bonus Deuces.

At resorts you need 1500 points in 6 months to be platinum status and your progress witll show up on the screen until you reach that status. Of course that all may change when the new system starts in September.
