LV Hilton update, trip report

Update to the database regarding the Las vegas Hilton:

Quarter Dueces in sports book multi-gamers no longer true NSUD. It's now 15-9
Deuces. Didn't check the dollar machines -- sorry, too rich for this trip's bankroll --
but I did notice that the $1 machines were a progressive, something not reported in
the database. This applies to LDW and JB games, too. By the way, LDW and 9/6 Jacks
are still on the quarter machines.

I stayed there last weekend on a mail comp sent by Caesars Entertainment that
covered all their LV properties. The offers varied from room discounts to a full, three-
night comp at the Hilton. I had never set foot in the place, but have played Caesars
properties in Indiana and Mississippi. I never though I'd really get free rooms on a
weekend in Vegas based on my limited play, especially since my two other Vegas trips
(as well as this one) were for non-gaming purposes. I called their number, expecting
to be turned down, but was pleasantly surprised with, "Sure! What nights are you
interested in?" then, "We can do that!" Checked in at the Caesars desk at the airport,
and got a nice room with a Strip view from the 24th floor. Bathroom was small and
the faucet in the tub leaked, but other than that it was nice. Offer also included two
"headliner" tickets, but these turned out to be for their "Fab Four" Beatles tribute
show, not the main room where George Lopez was appearing. I told the folks at the
box office I wasn't interested, so they (without prompting) swapped them for tow
meal comps instead. Nice, even though the buffet is just OK.

I put one other coffee-shop meal on my room tab, then paid it off in comp dollars.
Total bill: $2 for a tip on that meal. guess they won't comp tips.

Played about six hours total on the above-mentioned machines, plus some nickel and
two-cent (M*A*S*H) video slots. Staff was very courteous, though not especially
outgoing in most cases.

One other thing: Stopped by the Riviera to play a bit, where some friends were
staying. They had a Four Jokers quarter game with this pay schedule:

3K: 5
Str: 10
Fl: 15
FH: 20
4K: 25
SF: 55
5K: 100
Wild RF: 250
4 ducks: 1000
RF: 5000

Any idea of a percentage on this game? Played it about 15 minutes and turned $30
into $50 with nothing better than quads.

By the way: Played only quarter VP and nickel or lower slots. Hit 4 ducks early on at
Stardust, then went down, but still was about $30 to the good overall. I also did the
unthinkable -- played the airport slots while waiting for my outbound plane. Sorry, I
couldn't help it -- but it was may favority, a "Texas Tea" machine, and I won $35 on
it. Oh, well...

The past 2 times that I have stayed and played at LVH, most recently
over Christmas, the bank of $1 multigames was only progressive on the
9/5 DDB. The rest were flat top and had 15/8 LDW, NSUD, 9/7 DB
amongst others. I did not play the .25 last time, but the time
before LDW was 15/8 and deuces were NSUD. The way that times have
been changing, I would not be surprised at quearters being cut.
There is a 8/5 JOB progressive to the right as you go into the
sportsbook, and has often been over $8000 a few times. The remainder
of the database is accurate as of my last stay.

There are a lot of multi gamers in the sports book. Some of them have always been 15/9 for the deuces.
Did you check every bank of machines ?

It could be that the progressive only applied to the DDB. Again, I didn't check that
closely since dollar lay was out of my comfort zone this trip. I assumed (and we all
know where THAT gets you) that the meter above the bank applied to all the games
on those multigamers, since that's usually the case at most casinos. Sorry if I messed
up.

As for quarters, it's only the DW that was downgraded, not the LDW. Loose Deuces
was still 15/8.
