Consider yourself lucky! My husband and I used to be regular players at LVH,
averaging $30,000+/day enjoying C-2 level perks. We made only one trip there
since the Destination Club Card came out--and perhaps that was our mistake.
We actually got cards (mine was a complimentary Ultra and Hubby's was a
complimentary Elite) and played on them that one time.
Now, I got a large postcard in the mail telling me that they know I used to
be Ultra and all I have to do is stop by and earn 8000 Tier Credits by June 30,
2007. Then they will 'instantly' reward me with membership into their select
Ultra tier. Hubby got a miniature postcard (one-fourth the size of mine)
encouraging him to earn 1500 TIC to return to Elite status. In the meantime, we
can drop by and pick up our Classic cards:(
Frankly, I was insulted, laughing but insulted, that marketing thought this
mailer would entice former loyal customers like us to give them any play at
all. How do you get to be a CEO and General Manager and not have a clue???
