As I'm planning my annual couple of weeks visit to Vegas
in Sept, I
was wondering if anyone had a reasonably up-to-date
listing of the
VP games on offer in addition to the ones listed in The
Database. In particular, Double and Double-Double games.
What denominations interest you? And do you want to play
single line or multi-line (3/5/10 Play)? I don't go to the
LV Hilton myself but maybe someone else on this forum will
be there soon and can look at the DB and DDB for you.
I'm also looking for a recommendation on strategy source
for LDW - I
have Bob Dancer's books, but none lists LDW - is it
similar to NSU?
LDW isn't really similar to NSUD. The high payout for the
four deuces in LDW is a significant factor.
I recommend you purchase Frugal Video Poker software to
generate strategies for just about any video poker game.
The software also lets you practice and tutors you.
Unfortunately you can't download it. You must have it sent
to you via snail mail or you can purchase it when you're
in Las Vegas. If you're in a hurry you can purchase and
download Tom Ski's Video Poker Strategy Master which will
generate strategies. WinPoker the practice software can
also be downloaded. Both can be purchased at
http://www.zamzone.com
